World City Portal – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how World City Portal ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application World City Portal ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password to authenticate you. You may also browse wait time data without an account.
• World City Portal Reports: Wait time and crowding data you submit for restaurants, attractions, and other venues.
• Device Information: Device type and OS version, used for analytics and error reporting via Sentry.
• Analytics Data: Anonymous usage statistics collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App, including displaying live wait time information.
• To authenticate your account.
• To send local notification reminders (configurable in settings).
• To diagnose and fix technical issues via Sentry crash reporting.
• To analyze usage patterns and improve features via Firebase Analytics.

3. Notifications

The App may send local notifications as daily reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

4. Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App (tap the menu icon > Delete Account). Upon deletion, your account and submitted reports will be permanently removed from our servers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party service providers:

• Firebase (Google): For analytics. See Firebase Privacy.
• Sentry: For crash reporting. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Analytics and crash data are retained according to our service providers' policies.

7. Your Rights

You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device's privacy settings or by responding to the App Tracking Transparency prompt. You may request deletion of your account data through the App or by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.

Advertising (Unity LevelPlay)

This app displays ads served through Unity LevelPlay, an ad mediation platform operated by Unity Technologies (formerly ironSource). To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Unity LevelPlay SDK and the ad networks it works with may collect device information such as the advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID), IP address, device model, operating system version, language setting, and your interactions with ads. This information is processed by Unity and its ad network partners under their own privacy policies: Unity Privacy Policy. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
