Size Vault helps families record clothing, shoe, ring, hat, and school-item sizes. We designed the app to be private by default. The information you enter — family members, sizes, brands, notes, and birthdays — is stored only on your device using local storage (SharedPreferences). It is not uploaded to our servers, and there is no account to create.
Any names, sizes, brands, birthdays, and notes you add stay on your device. You can edit or delete this information at any time within the app, including a "Clear all data" option in Settings. Uninstalling the app removes this data from your device.
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (such as screen views and feature usage) to help us improve the app. This data is not linked to the personal information you enter and does not identify you.
The app displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers to deliver and measure ads, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. On iOS, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before any tracking. An optional one-time in-app purchase removes ads.
You can export your data as JSON, CSV, or a PDF using the share feature. When you do this, you choose where the file is sent (for example, email or another app). We do not receive a copy.
Size Vault does not knowingly collect personal information from children. All family information is entered by the account holder and stored locally on the device.
Because your data is stored locally, you control its retention. Deleting items in the app or uninstalling the app removes the data.
