ShiftCast — Last updated: July 26, 2026

Overview

ShiftCast projects your repeating shift rotation onto a calendar. The rotation you enter is held on your device only. Nothing you enter is uploaded to a server, and there is no account to create.

Information You Enter

Your shift cycle, the point of the cycle you marked as today, and your reminder preference stay on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it. We never receive your schedule.

Notifications

If you turn on the evening reminder, the notification naming tomorrow's shift is scheduled locally by your device. It is not sent from a server and your schedule is not transmitted anywhere.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics for anonymized usage data (such as which screens are opened) and Sentry / Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, so we can fix problems. Neither receives your rotation, and neither identifies you.

Advertising

The app shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers to deliver and measure ads, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. On iOS we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before any tracking. A one-time in-app purchase removes ads.

Children's Privacy

ShiftCast is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes are posted on this page.
