Privacy Policy

PantryAI Recipes ("the app", "we") is a pantry manager that suggests recipes from the ingredients you have. We respect your privacy. Your content and settings are stored on your device, and the items listed below are also sent to our server so the app can work.

Data we process

• On-device data: your settings and local history stay on your device.
• Sent to our server: the pantry items you enter and the photos you choose to scan, which are processed by our server to recognise ingredients and generate recipe suggestions.
• Sent to our server: the account you create, so your pantry is available across sessions.
• Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics): aggregated, non-identifying usage and event data, to understand which features are used.
• Crash & error reporting (Sentry): diagnostic information when the app crashes or hits an error, used solely to fix bugs.
• Advertising (Google AdMob): AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to serve ads. On iOS this only happens with your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, advertising tracking is not used.
• In-app purchases: processed by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment details.
• Camera and photo library: used only when you scan an ingredient or a receipt. Images are processed for recognition and are not published anywhere.

How data is used

Data is used only to operate and improve PantryAI Recipes — to deliver the features described above, to measure usage in aggregate and diagnose crashes, and to show advertising. We do not sell your personal data.

Children

PantryAI Recipes is designed for general audiences (13+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-party providers

For details on how these providers handle data, see the Google (Firebase & AdMob) and Sentry privacy policies. Apple and Google handle in-app purchases under their own terms.

Your choices

• Decline ad tracking at the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt, or reset your advertising identifier in system settings.
• Purchase the premium upgrade to remove advertising.
• Ask us to delete the data held for you by writing to the contact address below.
• Uninstalling the app removes all data held on the device.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Advertising (Unity LevelPlay)

This app displays ads served through Unity LevelPlay, an ad mediation platform operated by Unity Technologies (formerly ironSource). To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Unity LevelPlay SDK and the ad networks it works with may collect device information such as the advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID), IP address, device model, operating system version, language setting, and your interactions with ads. This information is processed by Unity and its ad network partners under their own privacy policies: Unity Privacy Policy. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

Delete your account

You can delete your PantryAI Recipes account and the data associated with it at any time, in either of these ways:

• In the app: open the Profile tab, tap Delete Account, then confirm.
• By email: if you no longer have the app installed, write to appdevelopsk@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "PantryAI Recipes account deletion". We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted: your email address, username, display name and profile picture are erased, your Google / Apple sign-in links are removed, and the account is permanently deactivated so it can no longer be signed in to.

What may be kept: pantry, recipe and usage records that are no longer linked to any identifiable person may be retained in anonymised form to maintain service statistics. Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google as required by law. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.
