Global News - AI Summary ("the app", "we") is a world news reader with AI-written summaries. We respect your privacy. Your content and settings are stored on your device, and the items listed below are also sent to our server so the app can work.

Data we process

• On-device data: your settings and local history stay on your device.
• Sent to our server: the article and topic requests your app makes, so our server can return the corresponding summaries.
• Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics): aggregated, non-identifying usage and event data, to understand which features are used.
• Crash & error reporting (Sentry): diagnostic information when the app crashes or hits an error, used solely to fix bugs.

How data is used

Data is used only to operate and improve Global News - AI Summary — to deliver the features described above, to measure usage in aggregate and diagnose crashes. We do not sell your personal data.

Children

Global News - AI Summary is designed for general audiences (13+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

• Ask us to delete the data held for you by writing to the contact address below.
• Uninstalling the app removes all data held on the device.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
