Privacy Policy

ContrastKit — Last updated: July 25, 2026

Overview

ContrastKit checks whether two colours are readable together. The colours you enter and the pairs you save are held on your device only. Nothing you enter is uploaded to a server, and there is no account to create.

Information You Enter

Colour values and the notes you attach to saved pairs stay on your device. You can delete any saved pair at any time, and uninstalling the app removes all of it.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics for anonymized usage data (such as which screens are opened) and Sentry / Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, so we can fix problems. Neither receives the colours you check, and neither identifies you.

Advertising

The app shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers to deliver and measure ads, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. On iOS we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before any tracking. A one-time in-app purchase removes ads.

Colour-vision previews

The colour-vision previews are a design aid that redraws your colour pair using published simulation formulas. They run entirely on your device, involve no personal or health data, and are not a diagnostic tool.

Children's Privacy

ContrastKit is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes are posted on this page.
